Central Avenue is a press featuring writers of original fiction, poetry and selected non-fiction. We look for talented, driven and committed writers. Many of our books are published under the ireadiwrite Publishing imprint. Starting in Summer 2012, romance titles are published under our Everheart Books imprint.
Our goals are to treat writers with respect and integrity while bringing to market entertaining books that connect with readers.

Meet Us
Michelle Halket - Publisher. Michelle is a self described bibliophile and technophile. The creator of Central Avenue Publishing, Michelle's extensive background in account management and market research has loaned itself to creating a successful press that is riding the wave of digital books while maintaining a strong relationship with its authors and readers. Michelle holds a Masters degree from the University of Waterloo.

Meghan Tobin-O'Drowsky - Editor. Meghan is the managing editor for the Everheart Books imprint and works with authors from submission to publication. She is a graduate of York University whose fervor for publishing began in high school. Her previous experiences include writing for Glendon campus' newspaper Pro Tem, editing and writing for St. Michael CSS' The Guardian, and designing the Perth District Health Unit's Think magazine.
